With a crew earning a total of more than 50+ years of experience in the professional kitchen, La Nueva Pasadita is a dream come true to owner and head chef Martha E Messenger. She and her staff are determined to represent Mexican and Tex-mex cuisine with the upmost respect. We do not believe in taking short cuts like buying pre-cooked bags of food, reheating them and serving them to the public like so much of our competition does. We believe in striving for perfection in even the simplest of plates. Basically If you eat here and are a regular, you are a true "foodie".
We serve only the highest cuts of quality meats and produce for all our meals.
Breakfast/Brunch consists of our variety of tacos and breakfast plates. Our chorizo is homemade and prepped. The fried(not boiled) julienne cut potatoes are made from fresh Idaho potatoes. We use high quality hickory smoked thick cut bacon. The eggs we use are real and fresh from a local farm. Our Carne Guisada is homemade and to die for(believe me you have to try to really understand). Our salsa ranchera will leave you in tears of enjoyment(not because it's spicy). And all of these options are presented with our daily homemade soft flour tortillas. There is much more to describe but to taste you must come in to try a bite.
Lunch and Dinner is another momentous occasion. Everything is delicious. Everything is homemade. Everything is fresh. No pre-prepped perservative drenched boxed/bagged food here. We even make our own salsa and chips. If you are in the mood for Mexican Soul Food, then please try our entomatadas or enchiladas verdes and fideos. If you are in a Tex-Mex mood our enchiladas are made with homemade enchilada sauce and the best cheeses(not the waxy stuff everyone else uses). If you want a fresh crisp meal try our mouth watering Nachos Compuestos. And if you want to go all out, our sizzling fajitas are your calling.
